A FAMILY

I don’t remember who I am

I am just a lady with lot of sad memories…

The horizon across is dark and I am all alone…

Two little fairies pass by my way and stopped to give me company

They are two little lovely kids

Their gentle hairs are so soft, just like feathers

The innocence in their eyes are heart touching

A teardrop fell from my eye seeing them

They wiped off my tears and hold me in their small arms,

We made a curl of hugs together

My sadness was gone and my heart blossomed with hope

The horizon began to brighten up

The skies started to become clear

A lovely sun came up in my sad world

The horizon was adorned in dawn lit beauty

It brought a handsome man with a serene face

I looked at him though I never saw him before

The little fairies loved him and so did I

We all hugged each other….

We were a family in that beautiful world

I opened my eyes and asked in disbelief:

“Is this heaven?”

The man smiled at me and kissed me.

The little fairies were happy

And their happiness contented me deeply

All I wanted was to stop that moment forever there…

The sun started to shine brightly

I never saw anything beautiful like that before

It seemed like a beautiful painting

I wanted to touch it, feel it and believe it!

I walked towards the horizon…

My feet touched the crisp clear stream that flowed…

A rainbow appeared across the stream, which was a good omen for me

Birds singing and flowers blooming in lovely colours

The softness of the sun and the breeze…

The white clouds sailing slowly…

Everything breathtakingly beautiful!

I turned back to look at my family,

They all smiled for a moment and were gone…

The little fairies and the man

I wondered whether they were my angels or my family or my after life?

But whatever they were, they brought me back a reason to smile…

Though I missed them but I took a hopeful breath and walked towards the unknown beautiful world…..
